We answer within 24 hours on business days.
\n
Copyright notices follow our DMCA process.
\n
\n
\n
1. Our rule in one line
\n
You put your name on it, or nothing. That is the Jerzo catalogue. Custom jerseys carry the name and number a customer types, or a crest the customer owns. Blank jerseys carry no crest, name, number or logo at all. We built the shop this way so that no jersey we sell borrows someone else’s brand.
\n
2. What we will not print
\n
\n
Names, nicknames, crests, wordmarks or colour-and-logo combinations of professional, college, school, national or amateur teams and leagues, unless the customer owns them or has permission.
\n
Player names and numbers used to make a jersey look like a specific player’s jersey.
\n
Brand logos, sponsor marks, event names and mascots belonging to others.
\n
Copyrighted artwork, characters or photos the customer did not create or license.
\n
Anything hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or unlawful.
\n
\n
Customers can type their own name, a nickname or their club number. Common words and surnames are fine. If a typed name clearly copies a protected brand or team, we email the customer and cancel the order with a full refund within 7 days of our cancellation email if it cannot be changed.
\n
3. The own-crest jersey
\n
One product lets a customer send a link to their own crest, for example a rec team or club that designed its own badge. Before ordering, the customer must tick a box confirming that they own the crest or have permission to use it. If a crest looks like the mark of a team, league or brand the customer is unlikely to own, we email them and ask for proof of permission or a different file. Without it, we cancel and refund. Crest links are deleted 30 days after delivery.
\n
4. Our own designs and content
\n
Jerzo designs are generic hockey patterns: stripes, sashes, yokes, chevrons, pinstripes, fades and plaids, in colourways named by plain colours. Our logo, the name Jerzo, product photos, product descriptions and page text belong to Jerzo or are used with permission. Do not copy them for another shop, listing or advertisement without written permission. If you would like to quote or link to our pages, linking is always welcome.
\n
5. How to report a problem
\n
If you own a trademark, copyright or other right and believe a product, image, page or order on jerzo.shop infringes it, email support@jerzo.shop with:
\n
\n
Your name, organisation and contact details.
\n
The right you own (for a trademark, the registration number and country if registered).
\n
The exact page URL, product or image, or the order details you know.
\n
Why you believe it infringes, and what you would like us to do.
\n
A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
\n
\n
For copyright, you can also use the formal process on our DMCA page.
\n
6. What we do next
\n
\n
We confirm receipt within 24 hours on business days.
\n
We review the report and, where it is credible, remove the product, image or text, or stop production of the order straight away while we review.
\n
We contact the customer involved, if any, and explain.
\n
We tell you what we did.
\n
If we disagree with the report, we explain why and remain open to further information.
\n
\n
7. Repeat problems
\n
Customers who repeatedly try to order jerseys with marks they do not own lose the ability to place personalised orders. If one of our own listings is found to infringe, we remove it and review how the design was made, so the same mistake does not repeat on another product.
\n
8. No affiliation
\n
Jerzo is not connected with any professional, college, junior or amateur hockey team, league or federation, and our products are not authorised or endorsed by any of them. Words like “hockey”, “goalie”, “youth” and “lace-up” describe the product type only.
\n
10. Guidance for customers: is my name or crest OK?
\n
Usually fine
\n
\n
Your own first name, surname or nickname.
\n
A number from 0 to 99.
\n
A crest your own club, rec team or friend group designed and owns.
\n
A plain word that is not a brand, such as a town name used on its own.
\n
\n
Not accepted
\n
\n
The name or crest of a professional, college, national or junior team you are not part of.
\n
A league or tournament name or logo.
\n
A famous player’s name with their known number, to copy their jersey.
\n
A brand, sponsor or mascot that belongs to someone else.
\n
A crest you found online and do not have permission to use.
\n
\n
Not sure?
\n
Email us before ordering with the name or a link to the crest. We will tell you whether we can print it. It is quicker than a cancelled order.
\n
11. Your club owns its crest? Great.
\n
Plenty of rec leagues, beer-league teams, school clubs and family tournaments design their own crest. If you are the person allowed to order with it, the own-crest jersey is made for you. If the crest belongs to a club and you are ordering for members, make sure the club is happy for you to do so. You confirm this with the rights checkbox on the product page. If a dispute later arises between members about who may use the crest, we will follow the club’s written instructions and may pause orders until it is resolved.
\n
12. Look-alike designs
\n
We avoid colour-and-stripe combinations that are so closely tied to one team that a jersey would look like that team’s uniform even without a crest. If a rights owner believes one of our blank designs crosses that line, report it under section 5 and we will review it; where we agree, we change or withdraw the colourway.
\n
\n
How reports are handled
\n
\n
\n
Report type
\n
Where to send
\n
First response
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Copyright (artwork, photos, text)
\n
DMCA notice to support@jerzo.shop
\n
Within 24 hours on business days
\n
\n
\n
Trademark (names, logos, crests)
\n
Report to support@jerzo.shop
\n
Within 24 hours on business days
\n
\n
\n
Customer order you believe infringes
\n
Report to support@jerzo.shop with order details you know
\n
Within 24 hours on business days
\n
\n
\n
Someone copying Jerzo content
\n
Tell us at support@jerzo.shop
\n
Within 24 hours on business days
\n
\n
\n
\n
13. Use of the Jerzo name and logo
\n
You may use the name Jerzo to refer to our shop, for example in a review or a post about your jersey. Please do not use our logo, or a confusingly similar name or logo, for your own products or shop, and do not suggest that Jerzo endorses something it does not. For any other use, ask us first.
\n
14. Customer content
\n
When you send us a name, number or crest to print, you keep any rights you have in it. You give us permission to use it only to print, pack and ship your order and to handle returns. We do not reuse customer crests for other customers, show them on our site or use them in marketing, and we delete crest links 30 days after delivery.
\n
15. Changes to this policy
\n
We may update this page as our catalogue or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
\n
16. Why we work this way
\n
Hockey fans love jerseys, and a lot of jerseys online borrow crests, names and colours they have no right to. Those products get pulled, orders get cancelled, and buyers are left without their jersey. We would rather sell fewer kinds of jersey and stand behind every one. Your name, your number, your crest if it is yours, or a clean blank jersey: that is the whole offer, and it is why you will not find a team name anywhere in our catalogue, product titles, colour names or search terms.
\n
17. Examples
\n
Rec team crest
\n
A beer-league team captain uploads the team’s own crest, designed by a teammate who agrees to its use. The captain ticks the rights box. We print it.
\n
Pro team crest
\n
A customer sends a link to a professional team’s crest. It is not theirs. We email them, cancel the order and refund it in full within 7 days of our cancellation email.
\n
Famous name and number
\n
A customer types a famous player’s surname with the number that player is known for, clearly to copy that player’s jersey. We email the customer and ask for a change; if they do not want one, we cancel and refund.
\n
Shared surname
\n
A customer whose own surname happens to match a well-known player orders it with their own number. That is their name. We print it.
\n
18. Reports in good faith
\n
We take every report seriously, and we ask that reports are made in good faith and with enough detail for us to act. If a report turns out to be mistaken, we restore what we can and tell the customer. Knowingly false reports can create legal liability for the sender.
\n
19. Product names, colours and search terms
\n
Rights questions are not only about what is printed. Our product titles, colour names, page text, image file names and search keywords also avoid team, league, club, player and brand names. Colourways are named for plain colours, such as Forest & Gold or Grey & Navy, not for any team that wears them. Product pages never describe anything we sell as team-approved merchandise, because none of it is. If you spot a word on our site that breaks this rule, tell us and we will change it.
\n
20. Who decides
\n
Jerzo makes the final decision on whether to print a requested name, number or crest. When we refuse, we explain why by email, offer the customer a chance to change the request within the order, and refund in full if they prefer to cancel. We apply the same rule to every customer and every order.
\n
21. Blank jerseys and your own decoration
\n
A blank Jerzo jersey has no crest, name or number. What you add to it yourself after delivery, for example sewn-on patches, is your responsibility. Adding patches or lettering may affect a later return, so try the jersey on first.
\n
9.
